Graduated with an Honours degree in Physiotherapy from the University of the Western Cape in 2003 and then went on to complete his Masters in 2007. He finished his Ph.D. in 2018 specialising in rehabilitation. After working in the public sector for two years, he moved on to opening two physiotherapy private practices in the Athlone and Rondebosch East area and enjoyed being the sports physiotherapist for a professional soccer team during 2004-2006 seasons. He was Head of Department of one of Life Health Care’s physiotherapy departments for 9 years and holds an academic position at the University of Cape Town since 2007. He also owns a health consulting and tech company.
